Grants to the LibraryBucket of BooksThe Bucket of Books are tubs containing 24-30 books on specific curriculum topics plus a teacher’s guide which includes an annotated list of age-appropriate Web sites and a pathfinder for conducting research at Multnomah County Library. Primarily K-12 educators and home schooling families use Bucket of Books tubs. It has proven to be a valuable program to support curriculum in schools and has received rave reviews from educators across Multnomah County The Friends of the Library funds have been used to help purchase materials for over 40 tubs.
