Multnomah County Library

As Friends of the Library we promote and support the library programs and staff through grants and advocacy. Annual book sales in Portland and Gresham, and the Friends’ Library Store provide us the opportunity to engage in activities, which make the library a stronger presence in our community. The Friends of the Multnomah County Library have been an active membership organization in the Portland area since 1972.

Doing Our Part FOL President Craig Cedros and Barbara Lile, Portland Public Schools volunteer, sort through books the Friends recently donated to the Marysville classroom libraries. "These donations will help replace books lost in the November 10th fire at the SE Portland elementary school" 36th Annual Fall Used Book Sale a Big Success! We made $90,512 at our fall book sale! 4400 people attended.
