Friends’ Library StoreThe Friends’ Library Store, located in the Central Library, is a great find for book lovers who also like to shop. With an abundance of carefully selected literary gifts and quality used books, the store is now open the same hours as the Central Library. The Friends’ Store features an outstanding collection of affordable books, Oregon-themed souvenirs and unusual gifts. The literature section contains popular fiction, classics, and children's books. There are many trade paperbacks and hard-bound volumes as well as Folio Society and leather-bound editions of classics. The non-fiction sections include gardening, cooking, art, history, biography, travel and current events. In addition to used books, the Friends’ Store has a delightful selection of book related sidelines including greeting cards (many from Deborah DeWit-Marchant), book ends in a variety of themes and materials, tote bags, CDs and DVDs, journals, calendars, mugs, and library writing materials (pens, paper, computer discs). If you have questions or an interest in volunteering in the store, please call Babs Adamski, Friends’ Store Manager at 503-988-6762 or e-mail her. Store Hours: Actual location:
